Poster Fold Design

This design employs typographic hierarchy, rhythm, and type manipulation to create a informational piece for the Rochester Jazz Festival. On the cover and back poster page of the design a type manipulation of compressing and expanding letterforms is used to create rhythm. This visual rhythm indicative of the musical rhythm of jazz. A multilayered hierarchy is used to clearly deliver the information in the listed section and the FAQ page. The cover and FAQ page are flipped upside down when the design is unfolded. This consideration ensures that the viewer is able to read all of the information without having to turn the design over.
